Facility in Davenport, IA seeking Inpatient Psychiatry locums coverage

Rates: $300/hr

Job Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (2-3 weeks per month).

• Rounding: Mornings, every third day managing hospital calls/consults during shift hours.

• No evening or weekend call.

• Patient Load: 5-12 patients per day.

• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry (adult and adolescent units), hospital consults, ER consults.

• Total Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents.

• EMR: Cerner.

Key Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry – REQUIRED (Not accepting BE).

• Experience treating patients ages 6 and up – Preferred.

• Inpatient experience – REQUIRED.

• Familiarity with various treatment disorders (Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Psychotic Disorders, etc.) – REQUIRED.

• IA license or IMLC – REQUIRED.

• 2+ years of inpatient psych experience – Highly preferred.

• No visa candidates accepted.

Facility and Support:

• Trauma Level: III.

• Security: Available on each campus.

• Support Staff: 1 part-time inpatient psychiatrist, 2 Advanced Practice Providers.

• Consult/Transfer Protocol: University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry – REQUIRED.

• Must be available at least 2 weeks per month, Monday-Friday – REQUIRED.

• State experience with conditions/treatments as listed above – REQUIRED.

• IA license or IMLC – REQUIRED.

Additional Information:

• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days.
