Job Description
Provide direct patient care, professional support to nursing staff, and general leadership regarding policies and any laws or regulations as well as oversee medical operations of Addictions Treatment Services in the Behavioral Services Department near Boston, Massachusetts.
About the position:
- Lead the medical operation of Three Detox Programs and Two Methadone Programs and a Discovery Program
- Provide professional support to nursing staff
- Attend to medical assessments and care of patients
- Sign treatment orders
- Review and support of treatment protocols
- Meet with patients
- Provide 24/7 on-call availability (scheduled rotation)
- Assist in the development and delivery of suboxone and Vivitrol programs
- UMass affiliation
