Dually Diagnosed Treatment Team (DDTT) Psychiatrist need in Philadelphia suburb! Call me today!
DDTT Psychiatrist needed in Blue Bell, outside of Philadelphia. 20 hours per week (daytime hours and no weekends) and may be combined with adult outpatient hours in their Lansdale location for full time. Program Summary: DDTT is comprised of a specialized mobile team of professionals including a Psychiatrist, a Behavioral Specialist, Recovery Coordinators, a Nurse, and a Pharmacist, providing treatment, support, and education for individuals in the community diagnosed with a mental illness and co-morbidity development disability. Individuals referred to DDTT are in crisis, at risk of losing community tenure, and/or are transitioning from acute care hospitalization. Position Summary: As a member of the DDTT, the Psychiatrist is qualified in the mental health profession, and possesses the clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and provide psychiatric treatment, and rehabilitation for adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed). The psychiatrist works in conjunction with all team members.
Requirements:
• 1 year clinical experience working with adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed).
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dually diagnosed individuals, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
