DESCRIPTION:

· Inpatient Psych

· ASAP - Ongoing

· 48 Hours per week

At least one-year inpatient experience of working in a private or preferable State System.

Fully trained in the evaluation, assessment, diagnosing and treatment of the chronically mentally ill population.

Preferably having forensic experience in order to participate in the HFC (hospital forensic committee) and forensic evaluations when necessary.

Available to work 8 hour days with 30 minutes meal time on their own on the weekdays.

*Available to work when needed for the on-call coverage for at least 32 hr a month.

4:30pm to 8:30am on weekdays or weekends during 24 hr call.

The assignment will be long term through 8/31/2025 with the potential for a renewal.

Monday to Friday schedule only for regular unit coverage; holidays upon the needs.

The total year time off requests should not exceed the time off allowed for the state employees, unless approved by administration.

The candidate will be on building coverage schedule during weekdays.

The provider will be working with the clinical team to provide psychiatric care and medication management on inpatient unit and site wide for on call inpatient coverage.
