Psychiatry opening in VA
Locate in Richmond
Full-time; permanent
Multiple openings
Join a large Psychiatric Private Practice located in the Richmond VA region with offices in Midlothian, Hopewell and Petersburg. We have multiple opportunities available for MD's that wish to do a mix of Inpatient Hospital (mornings) & outpatient Office (afternoons) work. We prefer child trained MD's that are willing to see adults as well but will consider Adult and addictions MD's also. We guarantee new MD's a minimum salary ($225 to $250 for new grads) the first year with the group and they are on a 100% productivity model thereafter. Most of our MD's on the productivity model earn between $320K and $750K annually depending on how much they want to work. Would love to find a MD interested in doing ECT since one of the hospitals we are affiliated with has a suite. They would be required to do one weekend per month and up to two holidays per year of call/coverage work. They would become eligible to become a partner with the practice after 5 years of service. Two of our Hospitals & Offices are in medically underserved areas so we can (and have done) J1 Visa Waivers and H1B Visas for foreign MD's.
The Richmond region is a dynamic collaboration between the city of Richmond, the town of Ashland and four counties, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and Powhatan. This partnership illustrates the creative impulses that course through the region. In a few short minutes you can go from bustling downtown streets to rolling hills on farms or gorgeous trails in state parks, wineries or world-class shopping. With sports facilities, meeting space, restaurants, oh the restaurants, across the region, you're never far from something fun, and delicious, in the Richmond region. We've also got something of a budding craft beer scene, if you can consider over 30 breweries budding.
