ARCH Placement is seeking a Psychiatrist to see children and adolescents at our highly skilled behavioral health team at a well-established and respected Community Health Center that has been serving the Florence, South Carolina area for 25 years. The clinics were designated as a Federally Qualified Health Centers in 2007, expanding its services to include several other specialties. The network consist of nine community health centers and three infectious diseases treatment and prevention centers with more than 70 providers, providing services in primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, dental care, chiropractic care, rheumatology, endocrinology, behavioral health and psychiatry, pain management, substance use treatment, and women’s health services.

JOB TASKS/DUTIES:
- Providing direct psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of clients assigned.
- Assuring the appropriate psycho education for clients, families, staff, and community professionals and lay people.
- Assuring the involvement of families and other person’s of the client’s choice whenever possible, with the client’s consent, in treatment planning.
- Providing psychiatric leadership to interdisciplinary teams.
- Assuring the clinicians assigned to him/her receive appropriate clinical supervision on a regular basis.
- Participating in administrative duties.
- Serving as psychiatric liaison with community care providers, particularly with regard to continuity of patient care.
