Medical Director/ Psychiatrist
Part-time Psychiatrist ( approx 10 hours a week) to also act as Medical Director
The ideal candidate will be energetic and innovative, inquisitive about outcomes and have the ability to adjust interventions to evidence of quality care.
This individual will be conducting patients medical and psychological assessments and evaluations; prescriptive and ongoing client medication management; directing and collaborating with other medical personnel to provide quality care to our patients; participate in multidisciplinary treatment meetings to provide cohesiveness with clinical staff regarding patients. Participates in treatment team meetings, reviews treatment plans and provides consultation for other staff members once a week.
This position also includes light administrative work including using an EMR.
Qualifications:
Valid State of Florida license to practice as a physician
DEA registration certification, unencumbered
ABAM/ASAM Certified or equivalent experience in addiction medicine
