Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Outpatient and Residential Treatment Tele Psychiatry Locums Job | Greater Los Angeles, California Area

Details/Requirements:
*Starts ASAP and ongoing for 8 hours a week for 100% remote tele psychiatry for child & adolescent outpatient and residential treatment coverage treating patients ages 5 to 18.
*Will be doing remote tele psychiatry using Microsoft Teams and will be seeing patients who are physically located in locations remotely.
*Flexible regarding days/hours worked between 9A-4P, Monday-Friday. They will take one 8-hour day per week or 2 four-hour days per week.
*No call.
*Board Certified Child Psychiatrists required. And they want doctors who live in CA even with it being all tele health.
*For the few patients they have who are 18 years old, initial evaluations are one hour including chart time, additional time if necessary depending on the patient. Twenty to thirty minutes for medication follow ups, including charting time, more if necessary for some patients.
*For children and adolescents, 1 to 1.5 hours for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups.
*New patient evaluations: a new patient must be seen for an initial evaluation within 10 days of the patient presenting to the facility.
*Electronic medical record system called EXYM, so you must be computer savvy. Also, doctors must be able to complete lots of paperwork, including JV220's, and scan completed documents to the Client and have lots of experience working with electronic health records.
*Credentialing takes up to two weeks, could be less, including a live scan criminal background check.
*Prefer six month minimum assignments.
