Outpatient Psychiatrist needed in Philadelphia, PA Position Details

  • Seeking Outpatient Psychiatrist for a Psychotherapy practice
  • Conducts thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Provides ongoing psychotherapy to an identified caseload of patients.
  • Implements evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address diverse mental health challenges
  • Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
  • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Prescribes and manages psychiatric medications as needed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment as needed.
  • Stays current with advancements in psychiatric practices and research.
  • Participates in case conferences, clinical supervision, and staff meetings when appropriate.
  • Provides crisis intervention and support for clients in acute psychiatric distress.
  • Adheres to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in medical principles and methodologies. Superior administrative and organizational skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent Written and Oral skills required. Proficiency in working with an electronic medical record. Office provides administrative support including scheduling, credentialing of provider, billing, etc.) Preferred Skills: Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities. Training or experience in specific areas of psychiatry (e.g., child/adolescent, geriatric, adult). Interest in academia/support of department residency program through participation in didactics, supervision of residents.
