Psychiatrist Opening in Roseburg, OR Located 70 miles from Eugene Salary: $300,000 Summary:

  • Seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatrist to join an esteemed mental health care team. In this critical role, you will be tasked with diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of psychiatric disorders.
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment modalities as necessary.
  • Prescribe medications as part of comprehensive treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Participate in regular clinical meetings to discuss patient outcomes and adjustments in treatment.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and available treatment options

Qualifications: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution, with specialization in Psychiatry. Board certification and valid Oregon Medical License (or eligibility to obtain). Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment options. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Comp/Benefits: $300,000 salary $10,000 Sign-On Bonus. 200 hours of PTO time front loaded, annual cap of 200 hours. 5 paid days and $1500.00 per 12months of employment available for CME. Employer paid Short- and Long-Term disability. Employer contributes 7% to 401k based off of annual income. Student Loan Forgiveness program. Medical, Dental, and Vision. Employer paid $15,000 Life insurance policy. Moving Reimbursement expenses provided with receipts if relocation is out of the State of Oregon. A housing allowance of $1500.00 a month for the first year of employment is provided if relocating from out of the local area
