Healthcare United is seeking Psychiatrists to join our team, which includes two other physicians and three nurse practitioners in a general adult hospital-employed practice. This opportunity offers a multidisciplinary team approach, involving nursing, social workers, and clinical coordinators. As part of the team, you'll provide care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with adult and geriatric populations.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid options available, including outpatient telehealth services.
- Call Schedule: 1:4 call rotation.
- Location: Safe, welcoming community nestled in the mountains of Maryland, with easy access to major metropolitan areas.
- Facility: 211-bed community hospital, part of a 200+ physician medical staff, offering a comprehensive range of general and specialty services.
- Specialty Services: Trauma, stroke, and cardiac intervention center, with a sophisticated diagnostic and procedural department.
Requirements
- Education/Certification: Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Experience: Prior experience in inpatient, outpatient, and/or geriatric psychiatry is preferred.
- Skills/Competencies:
- Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including telehealth services.
- Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Other: Must be comfortable with a 1:4 call rotation and delivering care across a range of psychiatric settings.
