Our Practice:

The Addiction Care team at Banner - University Medical Center is administratively based in the U of A Department of Psychiatry and is comprised of Addiction Medicine experts from a variety of medical disciplines (e.g., emergency medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry).

Our Addiction Medicine service strives to achieve four goals:

The ideal applicant is passionate about working with patients and families impacted by addiction and committed to teaching (both experiential and/or didactic). This position will work collaboratively with other clinical team members to support the current needs and ongoing growth of both our ambulatory addiction service and consultation service for patients who are medically hospitalized. This collaborative care team works closely with both the medical toxicology and psychiatry consultation services. Our program is committed to training residents (from a variety of specialties), toxicology fellows, four addiction medicine fellows per year, and educating medical students. Candidates interested in pursuing scholarship in teaching, clinical/translational science, or considering future administrative leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.

The qualified candidate will receive a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with their credentials, including a generous tuition discount for the applicant and immediate family members.

Minimum Requirements:
