Long Term Psychiatry Opening in LaSalle Parish Louisiana

Medstaff is looking for a Psychiatrist that is board certified, or a recent grad ready to sit for the boards
Requires unrestricted Louisiana license, BLS and at least one year of psychiatry experience
Experience in a detention/correctional or residential setting is preferred but not required
Coverage is needed for Sun-Sat, days, nights, weekends and will have shared call
Flexibility would be great - let us know your preferences
Bi-Lingual is a plus, but not required
Duties include but are not limited to evaluation, formulation of diagnoses and treatment of psychiatric and mental health care needs
Includes, family units, urgent and emergency mental health care, public health management, case management, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
Also gender specific care, including transgender care and management of mental health care during pregnancy
Start date is based on time for interview, site visit, acceptance, credentialing and security clearance. Will be a commitment through September 2025, with possibility for long term extensions.
