Responsibilities
This full-time General Psychiatrist physician position will primarily involve providing inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatric services at St. Anne Hospital, located in Burien, WA, and potentially other hospitals of the Franciscan Health System. There may be additional opportunities for outpatient psychiatric consultation through Franciscan Medical Group’s implementation of Collaborative Care into its primary care practices. The consultation-liaison (CL) psychiatrist will work with a multidisciplinary team that includes nursing and social work support. This team includes seven Psychiatrists and one Psychologist. The incumbent will be required to participate as a team member in the delivery of care and services of patients in accordance with Franciscan Medical Group's professional standards. This includes meeting or exceeding Franciscan Medical Group standards for productivity, quality of patient care and risk management. This key role involves strong collaborative skills in leading, modeling and delivering the full range of services to our patients. An incumbent interacts with patients directly on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree
- Unrestricted Washington State medical license in good standing
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills. Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude.
- Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence based clinical recommendations.
Pay Range
$120.14 - $168.44 /hour
