We are seeking a dedicated Adult Psychiatrist to join our team, providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to elderly patients. This full-time position offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule with a hybrid model of in-clinic and telemedicine services. You will cover multiple clinic locations across NYC, ensuring accessible and high-quality psychiatric care for aging populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment for geriatric patients with mood disorders, dementia, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize telemedicine to expand access to mental health services while maintaining in-person visits at designated clinics.
  • Provide patient and family education to support long-term mental health and well-being.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Fellowship training or experience in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred.
  • Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
