CLINICAL LEAD CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST OPENING IN CT Location: Hartford, CT Full Time Position Details Leadership & Supervision of inpatient staff, including psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and resource coordinators Collaboration with pediatricians, community providers, advocacy agencies, and government organizations Education & Training opportunities with psychiatry residents, fellows, and students from leading medical institutions Scholarly & Research support, with encouragement for academic development and mentorship Multidisciplinary Care Model integrating assessment, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and family systems Academic Appointment Available through a major Connecticut university Shared attending call responsibilities with a large team of child and adolescent psychiatrists Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut Completion of an accredited general psychiatry residency & child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Preferred 10-15 years of experience post-fellowship Administrative experience in inpatient psychiatry operations This opportunity is part of a renowned behavioral health institute that has been a national leader in mental health care, education, and research for 200 years.
