Psychiatrist (Part-Time)
A Part Time Psychiatrist Position is needed in Brighton, MA

Salary and Benefits
- Competitive Pay of $102-$120 an Hour
Responsibilities
- Flexible Scheduling Options: 4-6 Hours Each Week
- Work in an Outpatient setting , Face to Face, with patient volume varying
- Evaluate and treat patients, provide psychiatric assessment/care and health education services; assess psychological impact of illness and treat appropriately.
- Prescribe medications including controlled substances utilizing evidence-based medicine.
- Provide consultation to nurses to triage patients who call or walk in to the Health Center.
- Manage and follow-up on patients through Electronic Medical Records.
- Maintain continuity of care when Health Center patients utilize other health care facilities (i.e., referrals, emergency room services, hospital outpatient departments, specialty clinics and inpatient services).
- Refer patients for specialty services and provide documentation according to Health Center policies, procedures and follow-up on results.
- Participate in on-site and off-site continuing education programs and ensure training to maintain licensure.
- Educate patients and family members about mental health and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans.
- Provide appropriate health screenings as a baseline prior to psychopharmacology management.
Requirements
- Clear and active licensure as a Psychiatrist in the state of Massachusetts
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (or Board Eligibility)
- New Graduates are Welcome
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
