Position Overview: As an Academic Adult Psychiatrist, you will be crucial in delivering comprehensive psychiatric services, engaging in groundbreaking research, and contributing to the education of residents and medical students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of psychiatric knowledge.
- Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Missouri.
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.
- Experience in clinical research is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
