Location: Kansas City, MO Area

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with Behavioral Health experience to join our team at a well-established Critical Access Hospital system serving the Kansas City, Missouri area. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Highlights:

  • Low patient volume with an emphasis on high-quality, individualized care.

  • Integrated behavioral health services across multiple locations, including Atchison and Hiawatha hospitals.

  • Combination of services including Rural Health Clinic medication management, behavioral health treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) participation.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

  • Experience in Behavioral Health, including medication management and outpatient therapy.

  • Eligible for Kansas and Missouri medical licensure.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
