Position: Psychiatrist – Behavioral Health

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with Behavioral Health experience to join our team at a well-established Critical Access Hospital system serving the Kansas City, Missouri area. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Position Highlights:

Low patient volume with an emphasis on high-quality, individualized care.

Integrated behavioral health services across multiple locations, including Atchison and Hiawatha hospitals.

Combination of services including Rural Health Clinic medication management, behavioral health treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) participation.

Opportunities for group therapy as part of the treatment approach.

Supportive multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced clinicians, nurses, and behavioral health specialists.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Experience in Behavioral Health, including medication management and outpatient therapy.

Eligible for Kansas and Missouri medical licensure.

Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
