Permanent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Aiken, SC

Role: Permanent Psychiatrist (MD/DO)

Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and PTSD.
Provide medication management and monitor patient progress.
Work collaboratively with therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers for integrated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the EMR system.
Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry.
Active South Carolina medical license or the ability to obtain one.
Experience in adult, child/adolescent, or geriatric psychiatry (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
