A reputable hospital in the Florida Panhandle has an opening for a skilled Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Overview:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Call Requirement: 1 weekday per week (8a-8a) and weekends (Friday 8a-Monday 8a)
- Setting: 86-bed inpatient unit
- Patient Volume: 12-18 per day (3-4 new patients, 9-14 follow-ups)
- May see patients of all ages
- Average Patient Length of Stay: 8 days
- Support Staff: Psychiatric NP, additional psychiatrists available for second opinions as needed
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
