We are looking for a licensed Psychiatrist in California to join our team remotely, offering both full-time and part-time options. You’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive psychiatric services across our outpatient clinic locations, with a flexible work schedule suited to remote engagements. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric assessments, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and managing medication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
- Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
- Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
- Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings.
Qualifications:
- MD from an accredited institution.
- Current California Medical Board License.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- DEA registration to prescribe medications.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children.
- Valid California driver’s license.
