Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations at an Inpatient Mental Health Center, ensuring effective service implementation.
- Act as the supervisor for a diverse staff, including union, non-union, and contractual employees.
- Manage medical program operations as part of the hospital's clinical and management team, contributing to governance.
- Serve as the go-to expert on mental health laws, regulations, and industry trends. - Conduct incident investigations and reporting.
- Perform additional duties as required and within the scope of your role.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
- Active Illinois medical license or the ability to secure one via Compact process.
- Unrestricted DEA registration.
- ABPN Board Certification in Psychiatry.
Preferred but not required - Proven experience supervising medical professionals.
Working Hours
Weekdays: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Enjoy a 40-hour work week with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours clinical calls.
