Opportunity: Chief Behavioral Health Officer/Director of Psychiatry
*Provide clinical leadership and consultation and develop a collaborative partnership with the Director of Behavioral Health Operations and provide joint leadership and oversight into various department management teams within the Behavioral Health Service lines. Provide appropriate training in support of organizational efforts to design and implement care throughout appropriate sites and service lines. Time is divided between administrative tasks and direct patient care.
*Full Time Employed
*Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional evening hours and some weekends. Some Travel Required within San Diego County
*Minimum Requirements: 5 years of professional experience in Psychiatry and 2 years of supervisory administrative and patient care management experience. Completion of MD or DO degree and Board Certification in Psychiatry. Active DEA registration.
*Must be comfortable working with a diverse patient population and able to understand cultural sensitivities and medical conditions associated with different cultural communities.
