LOCUM POSITION DETAILS

• Looking for a provider who has 3-4 days of availability per week, would prefer full time
• Will consider who has 3-4 days of coverage minimum.
• Start date is Feb 1/2025
• If you have a clean malpractice record- there is approval for emergency privileges (1-4 weeks).
• Ongoing need
• 1-2 new patient admissions in a day with average of 6 a week.
• Average of 4-6 follow ups a day.
• One weekly 60-90 minute treatment team meeting a week.
• 100% Adult, 100% Outpatient
• Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• EMR: Meditech
• Ancillary includes medical teams plus close connection with Psych Liaison's (MFT,LCSW) clinicians who are housed in ED but support both hospitals.
• Safe rooms, 1 in place, several under immediate development-focused on 1C, ED, and ICU Security on site Psych Liaison team of MFT/LCSWs in place 16 hrs day/7 days per week for team support
• Pharmacotherapy treatment techniques
• Clinical areas: Anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, involuntary comments, seclusion therapy, restraint application, psychotic disorders, organic disorders.

REQUIRED:

• CA state license; active, unrestricted.
• Board Certified – Psychiatry.

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
