Psychiatrist Locums Job in Holyoke, Massachusetts | Monday to Friday Coverage | ASAP and Ongoing

Coverage Needs in 2025: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, call coverage

Assignment Details/Requirements #106696:
-- Active Massachusetts license required
-- Current Board Certification or eligible
-- Responsible for completing admissions, discharges and daily notes on their caseload, and participating in family or agency meetings as necessary.
-- Caseload of up to 16 geriatric psychiatry patients on the inpatient unit
-- Clinical Areas include: Anxiety disorders, affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders
-- Treatment techniques: Pharmacotherapy
-- 8AM – 4PM, five days a week. Call is beeper with 20 minute response time.
-- Support staff: Coordinator, one to two therapist as well as a dedicated RN
-- Facility details: 30 bed unit, Cerner EMR, credentialing timeline of 30-45 days in total, temp privileges available
-- Safety/security measures: Security in parking lot. Cameras. Quiet room. Restraint chair. All staff are certified in CPI.
