The Psychiatrist in Ashtabula, OH, is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management, therapy, and crisis intervention. The Psychiatrist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients manage and overcome mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other mood and thought disorders.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient needs.
Provide psychopharmacological management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications.
Administer and monitor electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) or other therapies when indicated.
Manage cases involving psychiatric emergencies, including suicidality, self-harm, and psychosis.
Offer psychotherapy, either individually or in group settings, and provide crisis intervention as necessary.

Qualifications
Ohio license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
