Primarily Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Coverage | Locums Job in the San Francisco Bay Area | Starting ASAP
Details/Requirements:--Must work at two locations which are only a few miles from each other. Need is 7 on /7 off starting on March 8, 2025 - inpatient adult only 12 patients per day - 8 hour shifts
--Adult inpatient coverage primarily.
--Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday through Friday, 8 hours shifts.
--If desired, can cover weekends (12 hours/day, 8am to 8pm), but the weekend shift requires helping with adolescents and with ED consults and MedSurg consults.
--Will be responsible for 8-12 patients per day. (Total of 39 beds max covered by three doctors.)
--Three providers per day Monday through Friday. Night, one person is on call but not asking locum to take call unless you want to. If you want to be included in call coverage, then the client is willing to discuss it.
--EMR = EPIC. Candidates must be computer savvy.
--Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry is required plus experience working with adolescents.
--For inpatient, Internal Medicine physicians do the medical physicals for the H&P’s for new admissions.
--Credentialing can take up to 3 months, but they will try to put the locum tenens doctor through emergency credentialing/privileging.
