Position Details:

• Type: Inpatient Psychiatry
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3-month assignment with option to extend.
• Schedule:
  • 4-day workweek, Monday-Thursday
  • Weekend call: 1 weekend/month (provider sleeps onsite)
• Caseload:
  • Approx. 12 patients, focused on admissions and rounding
  • Patient population: Adults (18+), with short-term stays (<30 days)
  • Cases include addiction, trauma, and psychiatric complications
• Support Staff: Psychologists, Social Workers, RNs, Primary Care Providers
• Charting: Paper-based system
• Compensation: Competitive all-inclusive rates with additional premium and callback rates available.

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.
• Active NC medical license preferred.
• Experience with inpatient psychiatry, addiction, or trauma is ideal.
