Position: Attending Psychiatrist
Location: Just North of Indianapolis
Compensation Rate: $410K Annually, provided malpractice insurance upon hire
Available Shifts/Options: Monday- Friday 7:45am to 4:30pm with a 45 min unpaid lunch, no after hours on-call requirement. 13 weekends on rotation and 3 Federal holidays required per year
Facility Type: Veterans Medical Center
Average Caseload: 20-25 patients per day
Total Beds/Units: 3 units, Coed patients, Patient population 20-80 years old, 1-3 Forensic patients on average per month
Duties may include-
- Physical Assessment
- Psychotherapy, Pharmacotherapy
- Psychiatric Evaluations and Mental Status Exams
- Consultations as needed
- Occasional commitment hearings
- Behavior Therapy
- Outpatient care diagnosis
- Medication evaluation and management
- Inpatient rounds
Requirements:
- Any State License accepted
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- At least two (2) years of experience
- Have a current unrestricted license in one or more states
- BLS
- Those who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
