We are seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrists to join our clients team in Brooklyn. This is a full-time permanent job offering anywhere from $220,000-$275,000 depending on interview and experience.

The chosen Psychiatrist will:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric consultations in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams as requested by other hospital teams. TBHC does not have an inpatient psychiatry unit. Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.
• Provide outpatient psychiatric consultations including our specified Article 28 sites. Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.
• Evaluate patients, formulate diagnoses, and recommend treatment plans.
• Establish and maintain a faculty practice for a minimum of 2 sessions per week. Sessions can be completed via telemedicine.

The ideal candidate must:

• Be Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
• Have graduated from an accredited medical school
• Hold and maintain a current and valid NYS license to practice medicine
• Be eligible for an appointment to the Medical Staff
• Possess a valid and current DEA number
• Have a passionate interest in academics and leadership; prior teaching experience with students and residents is a plus
• Have thorough knowledge of psychological diagnosis, therapeutics, and pharmaceuticals
