Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Outpatient)

A Full-Time Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is needed in Delray Beach, FL.

Titan Placement Group is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an outpatient Psychiatrist in the picturesque city of Delray Beach, FL, renowned for its stunning beaches, arts, and culture. This position is with a non-profit behavioral health organization committed to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to patients through a variety of services.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual Salary of $353,000 ($170 per hour)
• Additional Call Pay: $60/day when taking call over the phone after hours. $1000 for weekend call/rounds. $500 for Providers who take call during a holiday.

Responsibilities

• Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
• Lunch hour is noon to 1 PM.
• Patient Population: Children and Adolescents aged 3 to 18.
• Psych evaluations and medication management.
• Returning patient visits are 15 minutes, new patient visits are 45 to 60 minutes.
• Some On-Call is required. Additional call pay is provided. Current call pool consists of 13 providers.
  

Requirements

• BC/BE Psychiatrist, MD degree, current valid Florida medical license.
• Outpatient Experience preferred
• Experience working with Children/Adolescents
• Must be knowledgeable of Backer Act and Marchman Act
• Knowledge of medications for child/adolescent specific dosing
• Expertise in the stages of development in children/adolescents
• Aptitude for coaching children/adolescents about their illness at age-appropriate levels
• Competence educating children about peer influence concepts to adolescents
• Experience in counseling/psychiatric interventions
