• Patients per shift: 12
• Beds in department: 16
• Rounding patients: assigned and unassigned
• Admissions required
• Trauma level 4
• Required to supervise APPs
• Ratio of follow ups to new evaluations: 2:10

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active AK License
• BLS
• Required Skills: Anxiety disorders, Affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, Personality disorders, Psychotic disorders, Organic disorders, Involuntary commitments, Restraint application, Pharmacotherapy

Call

• Beeper
• Call response time required: 30 min
• Call ratio: 14
• Phone consults: 1
• Patients seen: 0-1
• Admissions: 0-1

Support Staff

• 2 RNs, 3 Techs, 3 NP/PAs
