Psychiatry Outpatient Medical Director opening in Kansas Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience ($300k+ starting) - Certified County Behavioral Health Clinic - HPSA Approved Site for possible student loan repayment - Student loan repayment possible thru contract service duration - Relocation expenses - Signing Bonus Benefits: - Malpractice paid Health Insurance - CME leave and stipend - Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year with tenure - 10 holidays plus 120 hours sick leave and 56 hours emergency leave each year - Paternity/maternity/adoptive leave - KPERS pension retirement plan 403 (b) and/or 457 plans MD/DO with residency in Psychiatry - Typical day is a mix of new and established patients for med services including medication reviews - Additionally, clinical supervision of mid-level providers Patient mix general population encompassing the full developmental lifespan with emphasis on teen and adult-aged individuals. - Typical patient volume 3 established patients per hour, for new patients to med services, they currently allow an hour for the initial eval, with a maximum of two new patient evals a day. - For transfers from one of the other med providers on staff, we allow a ½ hour for the first appointment. - The provider will have the support of the therapists, case managers, receptionist and medical assistant/nurse Patients will often have case management and other community-based services Substance Use disorder treatment (including MAT) is available. - CCBHC Practice in our family oriented communities, with beautiful neighborhoods and affordable housing.
