Opportunity Overview:
Healthcare United is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Psychiatrist to join an established and expanding behavioral health team. This outpatient position focuses on medication management and is part of a comprehensive suite of outpatient behavioral health services. Position Highlights:
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday.
  • Focus: Outpatient care, primarily centered on medication management.
  • Common Diagnoses:
    • Depressive Disorder
    • Anxiety/Panic Disorder
    • Bipolar Disorder
    • Mood Disorders
    • Pharmacologic Management
  • Support: Full complement of outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Available for candidates with interest and experience in guiding teams and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Doctorate in Medicine (MD/DO).
  • Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Licensure: Active or eligibility for an Indiana medical license.
  • Experience: Previous outpatient psychiatric care experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach focused on patient-centered care.
  • Additional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
