- Sub-acute unity/residential
- Voalte (secure internal paging system) is used to call
- Patients presenting in the ED are admitted by department scheduled NP
- ECT not required
- PSU (Psychiatric Stabilization Unit) scheduled NP provides assessment in emergency department and when staffed (nursing) observation of patients for up to 24 hours
- Coverage needed: Friday nights 7p-7a, Sunday days 7a-7p and Monday nights from 7p-7a
- PATU (Adult)
- 5-7 patients throughout the course of the day
- Direct Transfers are admissions for the attendings on PATU
- Treats age 18 and up
- The number of patients seen on PATU by each provider is a range of 10-15 patients per shift
- Coverage needed: every Saturday and Sunday from 8a-5p
- PYTU (Youth)
- admits patients aged 5-17
- PYTU is covered by a board-certified CAP
- Coverage needed: Wednesdays - Sundays from 8a-5p typically
- Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Fellowship Preferred
- Active MT License or IMLC in Hand
- BLS
- Clinical Areas: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Development Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
- Familiarity with: Involuntary commitments, Seclusion Therapy, Restraint Application
- Treatment Techniques: Pharmacotherapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy

- Locums are not on call during non-business hours covering scheduled assigned shifts only
