Position Details:
- The selected psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults admitted to our 24-bed unit.
- With our average length of stay at 10 days and a consistently high occupancy rate, the successful candidate can anticipate a stimulating and rewarding caseload.
- Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- The psychiatrist will be expected to provide on-call coverage for at least one week per month, with an average of 2 to 3 admissions per day.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient's clinical needs and goals.
- Provide medication management and psychotherapy as indicated, in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
