Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch a new Psychiatry Residency Program (PRP), including achieving initial program accreditation.
- Oversee the administrative, clinical, and teaching components of the PRP by performing various duties either personally or through staff.
- Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and provide direct patient care within the PRP.
- In consultation with organizational leadership, plan, coordinate, implement, and direct all aspects of the PRP.
- Development and implementation of program curricula, policies, faculty, community partnerships and other needs.
- Monitors operational results, manages budgets, supervises other staff including residents, and oversees day-to-day program operations.
- All duties are performed in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), institutional, and department policies and requirements.
