**Psychiatry opening in Pennsylvania** - Located in Indiana, PA - Pittsburgh 60m - Full-time, permanent - Highly competitive compensation based on experience. - evaluating and treating a general adult population. - Anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day. - Weekday call is currently being handled. - Weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8. - This will involve rounding on the inpatient units and seeing psychiatry consults in the Medical Center. - Suboxone certification is preferred but not required. - There is a robust multidisciplinary opioid narcotic recovery program using medically assisted treatment. The state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24-bed adult unit, and 12-bed geropsychiatry unit. The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation-liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education. The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns. A psychiatric residency program will be initiated once the hospital is built. An ECT program will be added. Board certification and 5 years of experience preferred. New graduates also considered. - Practice located on hospital campus - Collegial call coverage and support available. - Minimally invasive robotic procedures/DaVinci XI with 2 national proctors onsite - Physician led and governed - Highly competitive compensation based on experience.
