Job Opportunity: Psychologist - Behavioral Health Program Expansion

**Organization Overview**
A not-for-profit, community-based healthcare system serving southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire is seeking a psychologist to join their expanding behavioral health program. The system integrates six federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), including two dental clinics, a vision center, four school-based health centers, and a site within a local recreation center. The organization works collaboratively with local hospitals to meet the healthcare needs of surrounding communities.
The health centers are Medical Home sites that hold the highest quality certification attainable (Level 3) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Patient-centered care is evidence-based, providing high-quality outcomes that are accessible and affordable, including a sliding fee scale. The organization is also a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site, making providers eligible for up to $100,000 in loan forgiveness.

**Responsibilities:**
- **Primary Care Behavioral Health**: Provide behavioral health consultations and short-term interventions within primary care settings.
- **Skills-Based Treatment**: Incorporate behavioral health interventions aimed at behavior change for patients managing, reversing, or preventing chronic conditions.
- **Supervision**: Supervise APA doctoral-level psychology interns.
- **Neuropsychology Expertise**: Demonstrate understanding of neurocognitive conditions and their impact on aging populations. Previous experience in neuropsychological assessments is preferable.
- **Ethical Practice**: Maintain professional ethics, ensure confidentiality, and stay updated on current research, legal requirements, and best practices.
- **School-Based Health Centers**: Consult with school-based health centers, schools, and other outside agencies.
- **Risk Assessments**: Perform risk assessments for harm to self or others and collaborate with medical providers as necessary.
- **Efficiency & Organization**: Maintain patient records in **electronic medical records** (EMR) and execute responsibilities in an organized manner.
**Requirements:**
- **Education**: PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology.
- **Licensure**: License as a doctoral-level psychologist in Vermont and New Hampshire (at least pending applications).
- **Eligibility**: Post-doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
