Join Team at a State-of-the-Art Facility with a Focus on Psychiatric Residency Training.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum five years of clinical experience.
Board certification.
Prior experience running a residency training program in psychiatry desired.
Position Highlights:
Seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director.
New state-of-the-art facility to be completed by December 2024.
Facility includes an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24-bed adult unit, and 12-bed geropsychiatry unit.
Involved in the development, implementation, and oversight of the new psychiatric residency training program (4 residents).
Combination of administrative and clinical duties.
Predominantly outpatient, with inpatient or a combination of both.
Weekday call currently being handled, weekend call estimated to be 1:8.
Neuropsychiatric Associates:
Provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents.
Robust consultation liaison service for the hospital.
MAT program and medical education involvement.
Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and social work interns.
ECT program to be added.
