We are currently seeking a dedicated and board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
- Manage medication regimens and monitor their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, and nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
- Conduct follow-up appointments and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with diverse patient populations.
- Previous experience in outpatient or inpatient psychiatric settings.
