Psychiatrist

We are actively seeking a psychiatrist to join a long standing Federally Qualified Healthcare System in Dallas, Texas.

The Company: Our client has been established for 40 years and offers tremendous stability for the Providers. They help the American Indian and Alaskan native population with all their medical and behavioral health needs.

The Position: Our client is looking for a qualified Psychiatrist to join their team. The Psychiatrist's functions as an essential member of multi-disciplinary care team, providing leadership and direction in a team based, client centered approach to treatment and participates in the development of and approval of all care plans. Our client is offering the following compensation and benefits:

  • $190,000 to $212,000 Based on Experience

Requirements:

  • Licensed Psychiatrist in Texas
  • Comfortable Treating all Ages

Responsibilities:

  • 4 Days a Week, May Consider 3 Days
  • Utilize various methods to assess patients, including interviews with the patient, their family, or other relevant individuals.
  • Create a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs, addressing emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders.
  • Provide treatment through psychotherapeutic techniques and medications, closely monitoring the effects and adjusting the approach as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the patient’s Primary Care Physician and other healthcare professionals.
  • Offer crisis intervention services when required.
  • Document and maintain detailed patient and clinical records, noting the treatment provided and medications prescribed.
  • Stay current with professional knowledge by reading relevant publications, attending educational seminars, and engaging in professional networks.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal policies, procedures, and professional standards.
