We are partnered with a team of mental health professionals who provide exceptional and comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in skilled nursing facilities. This is a collaborative culture with hands-on leadership, providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services. This is a full-time, W2 position.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Provide medication management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
- Provide clinical oversight and review of medical documentation.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to provide updates on patient progress and coordinate care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry and two years of post-residency experience as a psychiatrist in a psychiatric facility are required.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure as a physician in Arizona.
- Licensed by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
- Must have experience providing services to adults and the elderly population.
