Role Overview:
- 30% Administrative: Direct the implementation of services as Medical Director.
- 20% Supervision: Oversee union, non-union, and contractual staff as a foil-line supervisor.
- 15% Management: Manage medical program operations and participate in the hospital's clinical and management team.
- 10% Expertise: Serve as a facility expert on mental health laws, regulations, and trends.
- 10% Investigation: Conduct incident investigations and reporting.
- 5% Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.
Work Schedule:
- Weekdays Only: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Earliest start time is 7 AM, and the latest end time is 6 PM. No holidays or weekends required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance Certificate and DEA Certificate.
- BC/BE certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Medical Specialties.
- Proven expertise in psychiatric patient care and experience supervising medical professionals.
