Medicus is proud to partner with a leading hospital 15 minutes from Des Moines, Iowa, that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide short-term locum inpatient coverage.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Call Requirement: In-house/beeper, one weekend per month
- Patient Census: 13-16 per day
- Patient Ages: Adult
- Case Types: Bipolar, MDD, psychosis, PTSD, anxiety, personality disorders, and SI/HI
- Support Staff: Social worker, recreational therapist, psych techs, RN/LPNs, CMO, and resident physicians/medical student
- Dictation: Dragon
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
