Comprehensive Level One Staffing is founded by Dr. Anthony Maioriello an endovascular neurosurgeon. We specialize in providing neurosurgery and neuroscience coverage to hospitals and are looking for psychiatrists to join out team.

Comprehensive Level One Staffing is partnered with a hospital in Iowa looking for a full time locum tenens psychiatrist to help starting in January 2025 - June 2025.

Job Details:
  • onday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Schedule: Ideal provider can work Full Time. Facility will also accept 2 different providers willing to work 7 days on/7days off and rotate coverage.
  • Need will be for Jan - July 2025.
  • Provider will round in the morning, and every third day they will take a turn managing all hospital calls/consults, etc. (during shift hours)
  • NO CALL on evenings or weekends - only during regular business hours

Job Description:
  • Physicians must be Board Certified in Psychiatry (Will not accept BE)
  • Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up is preferred
  • Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults -- NOT OPEN TO TELEHEALTH
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 5-12
  • Total Number of Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents
  • How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 1 part-time inpatient right now
  • How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group? 2
  • How Many Psychologists? Zero, inpatient
  • Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
  • Trauma Level/Designation III
  • Referral/Transfer Protocol: University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car
  • Safety/Security Measures in Place: security on each campus
  • Required Treatment Disorders: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
  • Required to have familiarity with Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER

Requirements:
Board Certified
Experienced working in an inpatient setting
Iowa license or IMLC qualified
