- Setting: government facility serving underserved patient population in Port Isabel, TX
- Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy and medication management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient Care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- All patients ages 18 and up
- Schedule: PART TIME - 20 hours per week
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the US or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school established by NCFMEA or ECFMG
- Completion of 4 years of medical specialty training leading to board eligibility or certification in psychiatry
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Active TX license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
