Are you a Psychiatry physician, searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in the heart of the mid-west, Iowa might just be the opportunity for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, call, 2-3 weeks per month
- Job Setting: Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults
- Procedures: Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up, State experience with conditions/treatments: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders, Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible: Board Certified in Psychiatry is required
- Certifications: 2 years inpatient experience
- Licensure: Active Iowa license is required, will consider IMLC
