Inpatient General Psychiatrist - Orem, Utah

Location: Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital, Orem, Utah

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital, in partnership with Provo Canyon School, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Psychiatrist to join our team. Located on a beautiful five-acre campus near Provo Canyon, our hospital has expanded our commitment to mental health, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Position Overview:

• Role: Inpatient General Psychiatrist.
• Patient Population: Mixed adolescent and adult caseload.
• Average Daily Caseload: 15 patients.
• Work Schedule: Monday Friday, daytime hours; includes one weekend per month for rounding and one evening call per week (phone only).
• Employment Type: Full-time employed position or 1099 independent contractor arrangement available.
• Opportunities: Inpatient and combined Inpatient/Outpatient roles available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adolescent and adult patients.
• Participate in medical administrative meetings as assigned.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and/or fellowship program.
• Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry.
• Licensure: Utah medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
